Prior to launching The Shawna Todd Group, LLC, Shawna served as Communications Director for Honeywell’s Automation & Control Solutions Service business where she led internal and external communications. In her earlier position, she was Senior Director, Global Internal Communications at ArvinMeritor, a global automotive supplier. Before joining ArvinMeritor, she was Director of Global Employee Communications at Rockwell Automation, formerly the Allen-Bradley Company.
During her corporate career, Shawna led the strategic development and implementation of internal and external communications functions that included media relations, crisis/issues management, industry analyst relations and sales force communications.
Shawna earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, and a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wis. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the area of Organization Learning and Development at The University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
